The objective of our Commodities Futures Trading course is to prepare both beginner and experianced futures traders to trade as professional futures and derivative traders and make a living from using various short-term and long-term trading strategies.

Commodities Futures Trading will give the right tools to individuals who want to gain a basic understanding of the theories applied to the valuation of financial futures or would like to use financial futures to better manage personal investment portfolio or want to start and develop careers as independent traders.

Some of the practical tools our students will enjoy:

  • Study different types of financial futures
  • Gain knowledge of the basic financial theories applied to the valuation of futures
  • Gain an understanding of various trading techniques, strategies and psychology
  • Learn how to trade financial futures markets on electronic trading


Brief Curriculum:

    Part 1: Introduction to Futures
    Learn the ins and outs of the trading environment of the day trader. What are the markets that you will participate in, and know what's really moves the market and how the key players work.

    Part 2: Futures Markets
    Establish the foundations to your technical analysis knowledge. Learn about the key chart patterns that are the ABC of technical analysis, and the different technical and systemic approaches used by traders.

    Part 3: Technical Analysis for Commodities Trading
    Get ready for your trading day, make your research and come prepared. Know how to act during the different events that happens each day. Learn the secrets of shorting stocks.

    Part 4: Two Approaches to Futures Trading
    Learn about key indices every trader should follow, their derivatives and how institutions use them to move the markets. Learn how special events can move stocks, and how to make money from it.

    Part 5: Practical Futures Trading - From Demo to Live Trading
    Hunting for trend reversal and using profitable & low risk techniques from short term moves.

    Part 6: Risk Management
    Use moving average, stochastic and momentum analysis that will help to confirm the reliability of technical patterns. Learn how to trade as systemic trader with those powerful indicators.
